– Bass is definitely there.
– Don’t really know what semi-open means since the sense when wearing these is very closed. You can’t hear much from the environment. However that makes them good for loud environments where isolation is needed and same reason you might wear closed over the ear cans. Guess semi-open in this case as the description infers is something about achieving more bass.
– I plan to use these when DJing.
– They seem comfortable so far.

I’ve only listened to them for a few songs but the sound is great! Especially for the price. The build quality seems great too so I don’t expect these to break soon but at this price it doesn’t even really matter. They feel wonderful and stay in really well. I’ve pretty much given up on Bluetooth. My last set was Sennheiser momentum 3 and I just sent them back for repair since the left bud started doing the whistle and pop thing because of the faulty glue. I’m also just done with wireless because of the weird sounds you get with a radio signal sometimes. I might try some in ears that are more expensive but these seem like they are going to keep me satisfied for a long time!! I highly recommend these especially at the $20 price!!
